Well yesterday was my day 1, and man is my back sore this morning! I actually started the nutrition a week ago to make sure I was willing and able to change my horible eating habits and was surprized when I found that it wasnt as hard for me as I thought it would be.

I was able to complete most of the exercizes in the chest and back to some degree with the exception of the Dive Bombers, every time I tried I just simply hit the floor in failure (of course that was about the time I was thinking I was going to throw up too) LOL.

Ab Ripper was pretty torturous, but in a good way. I look forward to the day I can keep up, and complete the full 25 rep sets on all excercizes.

Day 0 stats:
34 yrs old
5'6"
149 LBS
25% body fat

That's pretty good that you made it that far. I can remember how hard those divebombers were. They will get easier as you go. You didn't mention pull-ups so I guess you made it thru that pretty easy. If not once you loose some weight you should be able to pull yourself up easier.

I used resistance bans this time to kind of get the feel for things and to make sure I could get some full sets in before failure, but I was definatly still able to reach that failure point so I guess that's ok. On that note I have a question... Since I started with the bans, should I go ahead and finish phase one with them to better measure my progress, or would I benifit better from moving on to the pull up bars?

continue with the strongest band you have to do the pullups. This will help you get your strength up. It is better to do 10 with the bands than 1 without. As you get further into the 90 days try it without the bands just to see how many you can do if you are only getting about 3 keep at the bands intil you can get abouot 6-8 without the bands and chair assistants

Thanks Matt, I appreciate your help. I'm sure I will be picking your brain alot over the next few months.

Im really excited and motivated about the program. My body hurts all over, but in a good way. All the times I have worked out in the past I would just not go to the gym on a day like today because I'm pretty sore, but I actually woke up this morning (legs still a little like noodles from Plyo last night) and was excited that I get to work out shoulders and arms today!!!

Anyways, thanks again for the help and I'll keep ya posted.

Its going really good Matt, starting phase 2 today. I did get a little under the weather last week so I wasnt able to stick to the program a few days but I guess the recovery week would probably be the best time for that if it is going to happen. Gonna check everything again tomorow, but last I checked last week I had dropped from 25% to 20% body fat and had a net weight loss of about 7 lbs. Doesnt sound like all that much weight but I have definatly lost inches (over 4 around my abdomen) and have gained alot of muscle. Looking forward to the challenges and results to come in phase 2. I Do have a couple of questions for ya so I may give you a call this evening if thats ok?
